I LOVE THE KOREAN 10-STEP SKIN CARE REGIMEN!!!

My skin is complete poop. Seriously. I grew up with tons of pimples and I had a terrible, oily T-zone (thanks a lot puberty). I grew up taking care of my skin the American way meaning first you cleanse your face with a face wash, and then you tone your face with a toner, and last but not least you moisturize with a moisturizer. I tried everything from Proactiv to Murad to doctor prescribed face creams but nothing seemed to work. To make matters worse, I got pregnant which made my pimples go even crazier (but my husband didn't seem to mind because he liked to pop them ugh).

2 weeks ago though, I chanced upon the Korean 10-step skin care regime thanks to Wengie. The steps are basically to:

1) Oil Cleanse+/Cleanse
2) Tone
3) Essence
4) Treat
5) Moisturize
6) Weekly Regimens (Sheet Masks, Face Scrubs, Sleeping Packs)

So technically it's not really 10 steps but it's up to the individual on how many different steps they want to take. It can even go all the way up to 17 steps!
So less is not always more, as they say.
Another thing to keep in mind is that you don't have to use all Korean products to start this regimen (so you don't have to buy a whole bunch of new products, you can use what you already have ^-^), you can use a mix of different stuff like I do and it'll still work.

These are the products that I have used so far and honestly, I swear on my life, MY FACE IS 100000000000000000000000 TIMES BETTER. I don't have as many pimples anymore. And if I do, they're just tiny little things. My face isn't as oily and I feel so much better about myself.

I use Acnedote daily as a facial cleanser but if I have any makeup on I make sure to wash it off with Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Cleanser beforehand. After that, I use Unscented Witch Hazel as a toner on a cotton pad.
At this point, you have a choice whether to use a scrub on your face but I only do it about 2-3 times a week. I use Cure because it is really gentle on your skin and tons of Japanese girls swear by it! Next, I use the Snail Bee High Content Essence by Benton and then Skin Food's Peach Sake Pore Serum. Then, I treat my eyes with Etude House's Moistfull Super Collagen Eye Concentrate. Or if it's daytime, I use Tony Moly's Panda Dream Brightening Eye Base. I top it all of with my Biore UV Aqua Rich Lotion as a moisturizer or a sleeping pack by Daiso at night (not pictured).
When I first bought the Rohto Hadalabo Gokujun Hyaluronic Moist Lotion I thought it was a toner but I found it that it's actually used as a sheet mask if you pour it on a bunch of cotton pads so I've been doing that about 2 times a week. I use the Sunprise Face and Body Sun Spray before I go out as extra protection from the Sun as I live in Texas and the heat here is unforgivable. If I'm out and the heat is unbearable, I spritz some Sleek Mist by Tony Moly on my face to cool down. And if I'm too lazy to put on any make-up, I got this Pink Label BB Cream by Super79 that I've yet to try (I just got it today) but it's got tons of great reviews so I'm excited to try it out and I might do a review on it here too~

These are all the brand new sheet masks I got from Soko Glam (they also have a great post on how the 10-step routine works here) and they're so cuteeeeeee!!!!
These are some sheet masks I got on Amazon (they're from Taiwan if I'm not mistaken) and they're absolutely BEAUTIFUL. They look like kinda like a pretty lace dress smothered in goodness for your face and they have these things that your wrap around your ears so the mask will stay on your face and you can go around and do things you have to do without worrying about it falling off! Hallelujah!

So there you have it, these are the products I've been using to help my face out. I'll update you guys in a few months on how my face is doing and if you guys have any questions on how this all works or about the individual products, just leave a comment below or send me a DM on Instagram @cybr.grl~

o(╥﹏╥)o

hello there fellow readers of the universe~

This month has been a pretty exciting month for me!  ◕ ◡ ◕
I got my very first magazine feature on Young Wild Free Magazine (or for short YWF Mag)!!!!!!! wooooohh~ They're an awesome online magazine run by these amazing young girls for young girls and they're based here in Austin too. You guys should definitely check them out and and follow them on instagram to catch up with their latest posts and if you guys want to submit work and collaborate with them, email them at submissions.ywf@gmail.com.

Here's a link to my feature >>>http://www.ywfmagazine.com/?p=7777<<<

Also, I got a brand new (well sorta new, 2011) Macbook Pro!!!! ☆d(o⌒∇⌒o)b Hopefully this will motivate me to blog more and to post better content but life is hard when you have an 18 month old to always keep an eye on (he's asleep right now so no worries).

Also also, I'm feeling so good right now because I finally washed and conditioned my hair after about a month (I know, gross but SACRIFICES) and it feels SO GOOD. My hair is so soft and flowy and untangled and luscious and delicious and oh so divine. AND MY COLOR IS STILL FUCKING AWESOME. Which was why I've had to leave it unshampoo-ed for the past month (dry shampoo for those tough days of course) so that the color of my hair would stay pretty and vibrant and it works so if you don't mind leaving your hair unwashed and wearing hats to cover up once in awhile I definitely recommend doing this if you have colored hair to keep your hair color vibrant and fresh AF.
