I LOVE THE KOREAN 10-STEP SKIN CARE REGIMEN!!!
My skin is complete poop. Seriously. I grew up with tons of pimples and I had a terrible, oily T-zone (thanks a lot puberty). I grew up taking care of my skin the American way meaning first you cleanse your face with a face wash, and then you tone your face with a toner, and last but not least you moisturize with a moisturizer. I tried everything from Proactiv to Murad to doctor prescribed face creams but nothing seemed to work. To make matters worse, I got pregnant which made my pimples go even crazier (but my husband didn't seem to mind because he liked to pop them ugh).
2 weeks ago though, I chanced upon the Korean 10-step skin care regime thanks to Wengie. The steps are basically to:
1) Oil Cleanse+/Cleanse
2) Tone
3) Essence
4) Treat
5) Moisturize
6) Weekly Regimens (Sheet Masks, Face Scrubs, Sleeping Packs)
So technically it's not really 10 steps but it's up to the individual on how many different steps they want to take. It can even go all the way up to 17 steps!
So less is not always more, as they say.
Another thing to keep in mind is that you don't have to use all Korean products to start this regimen (so you don't have to buy a whole bunch of new products, you can use what you already have ^-^), you can use a mix of different stuff like I do and it'll still work.
These are the products that I have used so far and honestly, I swear on my life, MY FACE IS 100000000000000000000000 TIMES BETTER. I don't have as many pimples anymore. And if I do, they're just tiny little things. My face isn't as oily and I feel so much better about myself.

These are all the brand new sheet masks I got from Soko Glam (they also have a great post on how the 10-step routine works here) and they're so cuteeeeeee!!!!So there you have it, these are the products I've been using to help my face out. I'll update you guys in a few months on how my face is doing and if you guys have any questions on how this all works or about the individual products, just leave a comment below or send me a DM on Instagram @cybr.grl~ |

o(╥﹏╥)o
hello there fellow readers of the universe~
This month has been a pretty exciting month for me! ◕ ◡ ◕
I got my very first magazine feature on Young Wild Free Magazine (or for short YWF Mag)!!!!!!! wooooohh~ They're an awesome online magazine run by these amazing young girls for young girls and they're based here in Austin too. You guys should definitely check them out and and follow them on instagram to catch up with their latest posts and if you guys want to submit work and collaborate with them, email them at submissions.ywf@gmail.com.
Here's a link to my feature >>>http://www.ywfmagazine.com/?p=7777<<<
Also, I got a brand new (well sorta new, 2011) Macbook Pro!!!! ☆d(o⌒∇⌒o)b Hopefully this will motivate me to blog more and to post better content but life is hard when you have an 18 month old to always keep an eye on (he's asleep right now so no worries).
Also also, I'm feeling so good right now because I finally washed and conditioned my hair after about a month (I know, gross but SACRIFICES) and it feels SO GOOD. My hair is so soft and flowy and untangled and luscious and delicious and oh so divine. AND MY COLOR IS STILL FUCKING AWESOME. Which was why I've had to leave it unshampoo-ed for the past month (dry shampoo for those tough days of course) so that the color of my hair would stay pretty and vibrant and it works so if you don't mind leaving your hair unwashed and wearing hats to cover up once in awhile I definitely recommend doing this if you have colored hair to keep your hair color vibrant and fresh AF.

Take A Chill Pill~
It's exactly 7.44am and I have been up all night, trying to cool my nerves down. Last night (well, a couple of hours ago), I was trying to edit a bunch of pictures Noelani (my super duper awesome friend who is super gorgeous who helped me out yesterday by modeling in my new products for Harajuku Alien) and I took yester-yesterday during our sleepover when my camera's SD card messed up and all the pictures and videos (we also filmed an entire video in just one take for my YouTube channel) ended up getting deleted. I got REALLY REALLY MAD like so mad that I couldn't even cry because I was SO FREAKING ANGRY THAT STEAM STARTED SHOOTING OUT OF MY EARS AND YOU COULD SEE FLAMES IN MY EYES AND DEVIL HORNS STARTED GROWING OUT OF MY HEAD. But after some hugs from my husband and my lil Enzo, I started to calm down a little but then I started getting mad at myself for messing up. So I was like, F it I'm just going to stay up all night and do things so that I can sort everything out in my head and cool down. Sometimes we humans just lose out over simple things that just can't be avoided. But a reminder to everyone and myself especially, ALWAYS SAVE ALL YOUR PICTURES AND VIDEOS ONTO YOUR COMPUTER BEFORE YOU REMOVE YOUR SD OR USB OR WHATEVER. And also, WE ARE ALL JUST HUMANS! SOMETIMES WE MAKE MISTAKES! BUT DON'T BEAT YOURSELF UP ABOUT IT! THINGS'LL GET BETTER! IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT! NOBODY'S PERFECT, I GOTTA WORK IT, AGAIN AND AGAIN TIL I GET IT RIGHT~ (haha that's enough Hannah Montana songs for now)
But anyways, how are you guys?? How's life?? It's been about a month since I last blogged which isn't so bad :-) Hmmm I guess I'll just update you guys on what's been going on in my life. Well, I think 2/3 weeks ago I got all my wisdom teeth removed which SUCKED ASS. I was really pumped about it at first before I got them removed because I thought they'd put me on laughing gas and I could take a funny video of me saying weird things after but they put me on anaesthesia instead which I guess is better because I read up that if they put you on laughing gas you'll be awake the entire time which sounds horrifying? So yeah, they had to poke me a bunch of times because I have tiny veins :-( til they finally got it and started pumping in all the medicine through the tube and I was just staring at the ceiling thinking, "hmm this isn't working...what if I wake up halfway?...maybe I should close my-" and then I just fell asleep right away. When I woke up, my husband and the nurse were already dragging me into the car and my head was so woozy and on the drive home I was just slumped over and I felt like a ragdoll. The rest of the day I just slept and that was it. But it was the aftercare that was THE WORST. My gums were sore and I felt like I had blisters in my cheeks and I had a terrible headache and I felt like puking 24/7 and it was just so so bad. I could only eat soft stuff like oatmeal and it was so hard to drink water with the gauze in my mouth haha and it was so hard to speak too! I had to pull through after about 5 days and then things got better again and now I can finally eat yummy kettle corn popcorn again!! WOOOHHOOOO~~~
This past week was really amazing though because it was fashion week and I got to go to my very first fashion show here in Austin!! I finally decided that I want to start getting more involved in the Austin fashion community and also to start a revolution of young fashion here because I hardly ever see anyone about my age dressed up here (or maybe I just don't go out much :-P). Eventually I'd love to organize a contemporary fashion show showcasing young designers and stylists and whatnot!! My husband and I went with my new URL friend turned IRL friend (we met on twitter when I creeped up on her haha), Paris. You can check us out on the Austin Fashion Week page (I got so excited when I found us ^-^) here >> http://afw.fashionxaustin.com/works/finale-red-carpet-images/ << I think we're the 19th picture but you can check it out on my IG page too (@cybr.grl). Everything was really fancy and they decorated the place with pretty balloons and streamers and whatnot. And everyone was dressed to the nines while here's me in my seapunk Timefly poncho and chainlink harness hahaha. But yeah, it was an awesome experience! I got to purchase a really cute green treansparent PVC fanny pack from this really nice lady (the brand is Dueces to Divas, you should definitely check her stuff out!!), we got outfit illustrations and I also met this awesome chick who's starting out in the Austin fashion world too and she was SOOOOOO COOOOLLLLL!!! Like I saw her with her blue NYX lipstick and I had a girl crush immediately >.< The fashion show itself was also really interesting. I really loved the Mash Up Team looks the best though because they were all so avant garde which is what I'm into. Overall, Austin has alot of talent and I'm so happy to be living here~
And then on Thursday we went to Fusion, the University of Texas' Textiles and Apparel fashion show. It was at the Frank Erwin Center which was HUGE!!! It was like a giant circle and it's so awesome because that's were a bunch of WWE shows were held hehe~ But yeah, there were alot of people and everyone was really supportive and cheering for their friends. I really loved the looks by this one guy who won like all the awards though!! Haha that's probably why he won most of them because he was so amazing but he had this one look, I think it was for bridal if I'm not mistaken, with this GINORMOUS crown and it was so elegant and beautiful and I wanted one for myself for my own wedding so badly!!!! After watching the show I really felt like I wanted to go to UT to study apparel design but we'll see how things go. Always expect the unexpected in life :-)
Alrighty, so we've come to the end of this blog post (because I'm crazy tired and my eyes won't stay open any longer)! Thank you so much for reading this far and I'm also planning on making more posts on my favorite stylists and designers and more fashion-ey stuff and also continuing the interview series that I had going on so don't worry~ HAVE AN AWESOME WEEK!!!!!! <3

~UPDATE~
Yoooooooooooooooooooooo
I finally have time to update you guys (whoever is out there in time and space who actually cares about my blog, I LOVE YOU) on my life and what I've been up to. Enzo, my lil munchkin is asleep right now and it is so hard to do anything while he's awake because he's a little 1 year and 3 month year old monkey who likes to run around and twirl around and climb on things and do a lot of naughty things when I'm not looking so I always have to keep my eyes on him!!
We recently moved into our new home and it is amazinggggggggggggggggggggggg and we love it so much!! It's a cute little green house in a really cute neighborhood that's nestled right in between my parents and my husband's parents' houses. There's a nice little backyard for Enzo to play in and everything is just perfect. I've been trying to look for awesome stuff to decorate our place with. I don't want it looking like some plain old suburban home with brown furnishing everywhere :-((( (sorry, Mom). So I got this really unique looking skull from Etsy and it hasn't shipped yet but I plan on putting it in the middle of our living room as a center piece.
Alsoooooooooooooo I'm planning on either making a blog post or posting a Youtube video of our house fully decorated when I'm done with everything so look out for that! I have so many plans and so much stuff going on in my mind at one go. I literally have more than 30 tabs open right now and it's so hard to organize and prioritize everything but I'm doing the best I can!! Sometimes it's so hard having to do adult things and I want to just break down and cry but I always try to tell myself that I can't be superwoman! I'm just! Human! You're just human too! Whoever out there is reading this right now, YOU ARE JUST HUMAN!!! DON'T BE SO HARD ON YOURSELF! TAKE BREAKS! READ A BOOK! LAY ON A HAMMOCK! CLOSE YOUR EYES FOR A SECOND! Life passes by so so quickly. I can't believe I'm turning 20 this year. BUT I CAN'T WAIT TO TURN 21 THOUGH!! Ughhhhhhhhhhh I was so mad because lots of the SXSW shows that went on last week were mostly 21+ and so many amazing artists came so all we did was go to a fish taco shop downtown and meet up with my friend from Mexico @gy.borg which was nice but stilll!
You guys should check out her store http://www.onlinebymissmess.com !!!! IT IS THE BOMB.COM!!!! It literally oozes cyber girl.
Do you guys ever feel like the internet has limited your vocabulary? I feel like ever since I started owning a phone and stopped reading books, I started talking differently and writing differently. I used to speak more eloquently but now I feel like I just keep saying literally and like like like. I need to start reading again!!! I just bought some fashion and photography books but hopefully those will help. Life has changed so much for me in just a few short years. Now I'm a mom and I own my own online store and I've been trying to reach out to all these people in the fashion industry. Next year, I'd love to participate in Austin Fashion Week as a stylist but I still have lots of work to do. Oh, and also to join a trade show to sell my merch! That would be so great! I'm also married now but I feel like I've been married to Edgar ever since I met him. He's my soulmate (eventhough he pisses me off sometimes but like I said, WE'RE ALL HUMAN).
Anyways, I have to get back to doing mom stuff and cleaning up the house but don't worry I'll be back before you know it!! I'll try my best to update and post as much as I can :-)

Aliens Can Listen To Nirvana Too
"I'm so happy 'cause today
I found my friends they're in my headI'm so ugly, that's okay, 'cause so are you
We broke our mirrors
Sunday morning is everyday for all I care
And I'm not scared
Light my candles, in a daze
'Cause I've found god
I'm so lonely, that's okay I shaved your head
And I'm not sad
And just maybe I'm to blame for all I've heard
And I'm not sure
I'm so excited, I can't wait to meet you there
And I don't care
I'm so horny, that's okay
My will is good"
